What is Biz pod?

Biz Pod Vancouver, in short, is an accountability group. Biz Pod was founded by entrepreneurs that saw some holes in the way entrepreneurs are being supported (or lack thereof) in the local business community. To embark on the journey to become a successful entrepreneur is often a lonely one. With Biz Pod, and carefully curated groups or “pods”, we aim to fill the gaps in our current community.

What we’ve found in traditional accountability groups is a disconnect of the actuality of life as an entrepreneur. Simply put, many accountability groups are far too large - this inhibits the chance of true connection, true network, and true accountability. The object is far removed from accountability, and many of these groups it almost seems as a “one-upping” game amongst group members. We want to dismantle this, and bring accountability back to the basics: mindset and discipline.

How it all works:

Each “pod” will have a facilitator, and each pod will also meet monthly - while also being kept accountable on a daily level. In these monthly meetings, you can expect deep dives, and deep exploration, of your current business. Each fellow member of your pod also serves as a type of “board of directors” for you - a sounding board in which you can gain further knowledge, network, and strategy. You, in turn, will bring that same value to your fellow pod members as well. The goal is simple; to help cultivate an iron-clad mindset in business, but also grow personally alongside the growth of your business.
